My name is David Choquette, I am 20 years old and I live in beautiful British Columbia. I decided at a young age that listening to instructions, more specifically rules was not my forte. This alone, is without doubt the biggest reason I decided to create my own online business. My life long pursuit in search of financial freedom lead me on an interesting journey so far. Being somewhat of a Jack-Of-All-Trades but an ace at none has allowed me to broaden my knowledge in various fields of work ranging from the service industry to construction. Realistically, it has given me the opportunity to learn many valuable life skills along the way. The most important, I realized I had absolutely NO interest taking orders for the rest of my life. And so began what would be an ongoing battle; against society, the man, the power, and the stereotypical go to school, educate yourself get a good job bandwagon everyone seems so fond to be apart of. I was not listening to any of it, nor was I interested in the values and beliefs most associate with our education system.

Technically speaking, I have been unemployed my entire life. I’ve worked for various employers doing various jobs. Each job has presented me with challenges that experience and persistence would inevitably solve. It was an interesting journey to say the least. I must offer some credit to my previous jobs. Each one inspired me to do better, to improve what society considers as your way of life. Each job reminded me exactly how I didn’t want to spend my life. Taking orders from the man, following rules, repeating the same task endlessly until retirement. It just wasn’t for me.

I am an affiliate marketer. This means, I take various company products, and I endorse them. I promote them based on my own experience using my own experience with them and capitalize on the referral or commission of my work. This allows me to have a business that is open and making me money 24/7/365. Using a specific referral link, each of my affiliates is able to track where the client came from and if that client happens to purchase something through my link, I am rewarded based on commission or a referral fee (varies from contract to contract.)

I also make money with Google AdSense, this is a much smaller stream of income. The ad’s by Google you see in the sidebar on the right of every page in this website produce roughly .15c-45c every time a viewer clicks them. This may seem like nickels and dimes, but you’d be surprised the amount you can build up in a 3 months.

Combined, I do pretty well. I mean, I don’t drive a Ferrari or own a 6000sq.ft mansion… yet.
