As the economy continues to plummet, the increase in start-up online businesses has steadily increased. It seems as the economy takes the plunge and so does our hard earned dollar, more and more entrepreneurs are finding their foothold and taking the plunge starting their own online business. This can be attributed directly to the state of our economy. With over 450,000 people that have lost their jobs, and an ensuing 400,000+ jobs now on the chopping block online business has seen an alarming increase in new start-ups. I’d like to know why? Why does it take loss of employment to motivate people to start their own online business?
Reports state that our financial crisis will be influential late into the 3rd quarter of 2009. With just under a year left I wonder exactly how people plan to cope with the financial stress they are about to endure? Some, a select few that obviously have some sense about what the future holds have began creating their own online business. Others, are taking lower paying jobs and even taking two jobs to make ends meet. When the “work” schedule was made, it clearly stated 40-50hrs/wk. With the amount of time some invest into their jobs nowadays, the return on their time is embarrassing. I credit those, that bust their ass 60+hrs/wk to support their family and their way of life. I just don’t think ANYONE with a brain and some common sense should be forced to mule themselves for minimum wage and a decrease in living conditions.
Now is the best time to seize your chance, with the economy in crisis what better time to begin a secondary stream of revenue? Yes, the revenue of your first month will probably be insignificant and won’t be enough to quit your job. With passion and dedication you’re only setting yourself up for success.
